“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”
I’m Asmae, 24-year-old and I live in the Netherlands. My main goal with this blog is to inform and motivate people with stories about my travel adventures. I want everybody to experience the pleasure I live when I’m traveling. I’m wheelchair bound because I live with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy type 2D (LGMD2D). This form of muscular dystrophy is very rare. LGMD2D develops weakness in the muscles, I can’t stand or use my arms. In fact, most of my muscles have been affected by LGMD2D. But it won’t be stop me from doing what I love.
I’m fascinated with journeying across the world and exploring new places. Ever since I made my first solo international trip to Florida in 2017, I’ve never been the same. At that moment, I knew that traveling will be my passion and addiction.
I wanted to share my travel joy and experiences with others, so that’s how ‘Roll on Adventures’ was discovered. I hope you enjoy reading my posts and if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch via the contact page or through my socials.
